About Me
Rachel Martin comes from a long line of storytellers who regaled each other with tall tales at the dinner table and whispered fantastical fables while their children drifted off to sleep. Her love for stories led to a journalism degree and a career writing and editing for local newspapers, national magazines and big brand websites. Today, Rachel divides her time between writing novels and working at a marketing agency. She lives in the Midwest with her family, is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and is represented by Sarah Gerton of New Leaf Literary & Media, Inc.
